Functioning description

The booking engine allows to book or to reserve items when the are in a store or when they are received.

This engine is entirely automatic .  The rules are easy :

Booking engine's running rules:

  • Each time an order is created, all items with a store as origin are automatically booked.
  • Each time a Receipt Form is created, all items intended for orders are automatically booked.

Booking engine works every time, even if the orders are in a Creation status.

The result of the Booking engine is visible in the booked quantity fields.

When orders are placed on a STORE origin, the booking engine books goods (items), by using a algorithm except if a discrepancies have been selected in the PN Infos form.

The user is able to select a quantity which may need to select more than one item.

In this case, the booking engine will books items by using priorities:

Booking engine's priorities rules:

1- Expiry Date (if exist, the more older item is selected first)

2- Cure date or Manufacture date (if at least one of both date exist, the more older is chosen first)

3- Price date (Receipt Form date, more older is select first)
