Definition

A Certificate is a document which is attached to the material. 

The certificate form shows certificates availability for a selected item:

There are two kind of certificate : Expected certificate and Final certificate

Expected certificate

This is the certificate which is shown in one of the following documents and which will be expected at reception of the material:

• PO - Purchase Order
• RO - Repair Order
• EO - Exchange Order
• Quotation (whatever the origin, stock or vendor)
• Requisition when the origin is a vendor
• Repair Requisition
• Exchange Requisition

Final certificate

This is the Certificate supplied with the material and captured in the Receipt Form . It can be up-dated / modified .

Final certificate can be viewed from all documents, which map below shows the link:

• Delivery Note
• Requisition when the origin is a store
• Vendor Invoice
• Customer Invoice
• Vendor Credit Note
• Customer Credit Note

Particular cases :

Quotation

•        When the user add an item line with a stock origin, the first type of certificate found will be used.

Requisition

•        When the user add an item line with a stock origin, the first type of certificate found will be used.

Consolidation

•        When the consolidation form is opened, only restocking lines with the appropriate certificate will be proposed to be booked for the order.
•        When the supplier purchase order is created from requisition lines, the default expected certificates will be those of the proper price list.
