Part Number import

Introduction

The Part Number import tool is a wizard look like dialog box :

Important notes

File selection - The Excel file must have only one tab.

PN - Forbidden character rules apply. Only new PN will be created. Duplicated and wrong PN lines will be discarded in the following steps.

Description - Description can be updated even if PN already exist.

Family - Unique value or Defined into a column. Must exist in the General Data.

Manufacturer - Unique value or Defined into a column. Must exist in the General Data or must be empty.

Country - No default or Unique value or Defined into a column. Must exist in the General Data.

UOM - Unique value or Defined into a column. Must exist in the General Data.

Effectivity - Must exist in the General Data.

Serialized - Value must be 0 or 1.

Repairable - Value must be 0 or 1. When PN is repairable the serialized field will be set to 1 automatically.

Rotable - Value must be 0 or 1. When PN is a rotable the repairable and the serialized fields will be set to 1 automatically.
