Introduction


Into SPM, the Repair process means reparation but not only. Overhaul, test, calibration, certification or any other work which can be done on repairable part is covered by the repair process.

IMPORTANT NOTE :  To be repairable, a part number should have the Repairable check box ticked into the Part Number form (see Part Number/General Data)

The schema of the repair process is available in the Repair Process topic.

The order to repair, Customer side,  is called Repair Requisition. The Repair Requisition will generate it's own Repair Order.

The order to repair, Repair Shop side, is called Repair Order. A Repair Order can be created without any Repair Requisition when the repair is is not done for a customer. We also speak of a half process.
